He has extensively trained in the movement theater of Jacques Lecoq, and went on to perform at the RSC with renowned director ‘Katie Mitchell’. In Film; Ed developed the technique working along side Hollywood heavyweights such as Russell Crowe in ‘Master and Commander’, Gywneth Paltrow in ‘Emma’ and Kate Winslet in ‘Enigma’.
Ed has taught ‘Integrated Acting’ in Oxford School of Drama, Central School of Speech and Drama, and The London College of Music. Much of Integrated Acting was honed and refined at The Actors Centre, where Ed’s innovative approach attracted Methuen Bloomsbury to ask him to write a book on it called...of course...INTEGRATED ACTING.
