HERTS DRAMA

Classes are held on Mondays from 6:30PM to 9:30 PM in Hitchin, SG4

Off the back of the success of Medway Drama, we are starting Herts Drama, Hertfordshire based professional drama classes for adults that will train and mentor local talent. We aim to get actors into the industry by first homing in on their talent. Then, inviting key industry professionals to inspire and give gems on how to access an industry that can feel very unattainable. With all Wrought Artisan coaches being active actors in the industry, lots of the techniques will be practical and connect directly with what matters when you are auditioning, on stage and in front of the camera.

 
How we work:

• We audition every student that applies with a short zoom meet. This is a marker of how much we aim to commit to the actors in our class

• We train on a weekly basis, Mondays 6:30pm-9:30pm

• Every term is a total of 12 sessions, with a 1 week break every 6 weeks.

• We do 1 on 1 zoom sessions with an industry mentor, that advises on career development

• We watch London based theatre shows as industry research and building a community outside the class.

• We invite industry professionals to the local area to do talks with class members.​

Actors in our Class are expected to be
COMMITTED, PASSIONATE and above all COURAGEOUS.

TOBI BAKARE (Founder and Main coach) has 18 years experience as an actor, having done projects like Sky Atlantics ‘The Tunnel', Marvs 'Kingsman: Secret Service The Golden circle' and BBC1s much loved show 'Death in Paradise.' He set up the 1-on-1 Acting Coaching company Wrought Artisan in 2016, in which Tobi has influenced many careers across Film & TV including actors in Marvels 'Black Panther', Netflix’s 'Bridgerton', HBO’s 'Homeland' and most recently was resident coach on Netflix’s hit series Supacell.
